Agario skins. You’ve probably seen a few of them before. A giant doge floating around (the most anoying ones if you want my2c 😀 ), looking sarcastic as ever. A mildly arousing face, staring creepily in the distance or maybe USA or FRANCE flag, for someone to patriotically pounce around. Unfortunately the posibility to chose a skin with your country flag give this game a political view, we need to admit that sometimes there is a country battle not just a cell battle 🙂
Anway, these are called agario skins, and they’ve been a major element in playing the game since the beginning.
So what is an agario skin exactly?
Skins in agario are a visual feature, that changes the background of your blob to a certain image, depending your preferences. If you don’t want to use a plain color while playing the game, you can choose to use a skin without any disavantages. Agario skins have no affect on your gameplay, although some people in the game may specifically target players with a certain skin and here we go with the political stuffs. 🙂
To use a skin, you will have to change your name to a specific phrase before you enter the game. Keep in mind that you will not be able to use your own name while playing the game if you decide to use a skin name and any skin have a nickname associated with.
Here’s an example of an Agario skin:
If I use the skin earth, then I will need to name my character “earth”, and my in-game character will look like this:
Some people may like to use skins in the game because of the way they look, but others may not use a skin in order to use their own name. Now, there is the posibility to use custom skins and to create your own skin. We talked about this in this article.
